Contemporary Vintage Finnish Art Glass Piece of a Standing Polar Bear. Exhibited at the Retretti Museum Finland. Signed by the artist.

£390.00

An unusual Scandinavian vintage studio art glass abstract sculpture, depicting a standing Polar Bear, exhibited at the Retretti, Finland and signed by the artist.
This is a wonderfully tactile piece with a beautiful elegant flow to it.

Its weighs just under 2 kilos and has a few marks on the base consistent with its age.

Retretti was a major art museum in Punkaharju, Finland. It was unique in that most of its exhibition space was underground. The man-made caves total 40,000 sq ft and would house some of Finlands best new works of art. Sadly the museum closed in 2012. I've attached a couple of pictures.
