Sold - Early 1900's Dark Green and Gold Cocktail Gin Cabinet. Contact us.
Finished in "Dragon Green " and highlighted with gold accents on the glass divide and lower feet , this stunning furniture piece was originally made between the late 1920's/ early 1930's.
The cabinet has two glass shelves in equally spaced (we forgot to photograph those!?) And will make a truly stunning Gin, Cocktail or Display Cabinet. The back drop picks out the dark green wonderfully and itself has sumptuous dark berry highlights that give the whole piece a richness.
Its been a joy to create and we hope you love it as much as we do. It arrives at the shop this week so be quick if you want it as it goes on sale to the general public then.
The cabinet itself is 147cm tall x 60cm wide x 30cm deep and comes with two removeable glass shelves.
All base units used to create new refurbished cabinets are anything from 70 to 120 years old. They are all taken apart, cleaned, sanded, painted and made structurally sound before being sold. They are also antiques, have bumps and bruises, holes and cracks. This is normal but never detracts from how wonderful they look. If you want something that looks brand new then this isn't the item for you, however, if you want a wonderful piece of furniture, that would love another new owner who loves beautiful talking points in their home then, yes, you should definitely buy this.......
